If you are pregnant and worried about the swine flu and thinking about getting the new H1N1 vaccine, you should think long and hard. The CDC and media has sent everyone into panic mode over this "pandemic" and people are so scared, they want to be first in line to get the new swine flu vaccine. Your obstetrician may have already advised you to get the swine flu vaccine along with the regular seasonal flu vaccine, which is part of their job...to trust the CDC and go along with the recommendations. However, think back over the last couple of years and the big issues with traces of lead being found in children's toys made in Chinda...As a new parent, you have probably already read that you should throw away any old toys that may have traces of lead, and not use an old crib that may be painted with lead based paint. Everyone knows that lead is really toxic. The seasonal flu and swine flu vaccines contain mercury and aluminum. Mercury is even MORE toxic than lead, so how is that safe to inject into a pregnant woman? You risk the toxic metals getting into the brain of your developing fetus and causing neurological damage.
Keep things in perspective. So far there has been about 1000 "swine flu" deaths. In the United States, there are on average around 36,000 flu related deaths a year.
The Vaccine makers have immunity under the 2006 PREP Act, so if you have an adverse reaction to the swine flu or regular flu vaccine, or if your baby is born and has suffered an adverse affect, no one will be held accountable.
The supposed "testing" that the new H1N1 Vaccine has undergone has not been enough to prove to anyone that these vaccines are safe and or effective. In reality, Pregnant women, children and others with compromised immune systems that have been targeted to get the first batch of vaccines are the real test subjects.
I highly recommend you watch the 3 part series of videos in the previous post of Gary Null speaking at the NYS Assembly Hearing.
As with any decision in life, you have to weigh your options and consider the risk vs. the benefit. This should always be done before putting anything into your body that may have potential side effects. Is it worth the risk? If you are still undecided, but have a Doctors appointment in the mean time, do not hesitate to opt out of the vaccine until you are fully comfortable with your decision. When you doctor recommends something to you, that does not make it mandatory.
